When you use Remove Your Ex, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Email address and password (or Google OAuth profile) when you create an account.
• Photos you upload: Images you submit for processing. These are stored temporarily to perform the AI removal and deliver results.
• Payment information: Payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers directly.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general analytics to improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the photo processing service (AI person removal).
• To manage your account and credit balance.
• To process payments via Stripe.
• To improve the service through analytics.
• To send important service-related communications.

3. Photo Storage & Processing

Your photos are:

• Uploaded to Amazon S3 for secure storage.
• Processed using Google Gemini AI to perform person removal.
• Available for download from your account after processing.
• Deleted when you delete them from your account or when you delete your account entirely.

We do not use your photos to train AI models. Your images are processed solely to deliver the service you requested.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Remove Your Ex:

• Supabase: Authentication and database.
• Stripe: Payment processing.
• Amazon Web Services (S3): Image storage.
• Google Gemini: AI image processing.
• Vercel: Hosting and analytics.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their handling of your data.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete individual images or your entire account at any time from your account settings. When you delete your account:

• All uploaded images are permanently deleted from our storage.
• All generated (processed) images are permanently deleted.
• Your account information is removed from our database.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We also use analytics cookies (via Vercel Analytics) to understand how users interact with the service. These do not track you across other websites.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via Supabase, and encrypted payment processing via Stripe. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Remove Your Ex is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
